My first day in Canada was really long. I and my family landed in Toronto on December 3, 2013. I've never travelled outside my native country before. So my first thought in airport was: "How many different nationalities are here?!" Till we were staying in the line for board control I heard different languages around me. In the beginning I felt uncomfortable. But after I realized that all these people have couple common things: English language and wish to leave in Canada.
When we came to Canada I understand quite English but never had chance to speak on it. I was scared to start to talk because might tell something wrong or not-understandable. So my wife talked with everybody in airport and I only took care of our daughter.
After we had our final flight to Regina. We were so tired and I don't remember how it went. In my opinion we are really lucky because when we came to Regina we already had some relatives here. My mother-in-law met us in airport, drove to her home where supper was ready and was waiting for us. For next 6 month we had place where to live till we found jobs and started earn some money for independent life.
